PURPOSE: A display device and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to prevent contamination of a liquid crystal due to sealant. CONSTITUTION: The first substrate(100) is formed in a surrounding area surrounding a display area including pixel units. The first substrate comprises a sealant including a photo-curable material and a thermosetting material. The photo-curable material is hardened by multi-photon absorption. The thermosetting material is hardened with heat. The second substrate(200) faces the first substrate. The second substrate is combined with the first substrate with sealant.
