PURPOSE: A flux cored wire for a self-shielded arc welding is provided to reduce a failure rate and increase the horizontal-fillet solderability. CONSTITUTION: A flux cored wire for a self-shielded arc welding comprises metal oxide 0.3~0.8 weight%, CaF2 7.0~11.0 weight%, C 0.10~0.30 weight%, Si 0.01~0.10 weight%, Mn 0.3~0.6 weight%, Al 1.5~2.5 weight%, Mg 0.5~1.0 weight%, metal carbonate 0.01~0.10 weight%, alkali earth metal oxide 0.3~0.8 weight%, alkaline-earth, the rest which is iron among steel sheath and iron among flux, and the inevitable impurity.
