A displacement coating comprises at least one flour-shaped refractory carrier raw material at application temperature range, at least one glaze-melt forming flour-shaped inorganic raw material (I) with relative low temperature of 200-600[deg] C, and at least one glaze-melt forming flour-shaped inorganic raw material (II) with high temperature of 600[deg] C or more, preferably 600-900[deg] C, at least one adhesion promoter for adhering displacement with liquid on fresh mass of the oxidation protective coating after application, at least one mineral plasticizing binders such as clay and/or alkali metal phosphate, at least one fresh mass plasticizing admixture, at least one sedimentation-restraining additive of the fresh mass retardant additive and/or at least one antioxidant. An independent claim is included for use of displacement coating as coating of carbon and/or silicon carbide-containing refractory concrete linings.
