1. A method for detection of target biomarkers in a biological medium comprising
conjugating at least one capturing antibody onto surface of at least one silicon-coated magnetic nanoparticle to form at least one detection probe; introducing said detection probe and at least one detection antibody into said biological medium to capture at least one target antigen wherein said target antigen is said target biomarkers or is an antigen associated with said target biomarkers; capturing said target antigen on the surface of said silicon-coated magnetic nanoparticle by said capturing antibody and said detection antibody to form at least one magnetic immuno-composite; labelling said magnetic immuno-composite with at least one switched-on fluorophore to form at least one fluorescent magnetic immuno-composite; separating said fluorescent magnetic immuno-composite from the biological medium using at least one magnet, and detecting said separated fluorescent magnetic immuno-composite using at least one fluorescent detection means. |
