1310784 Engine control systems NISSAN MOTOR CO Ltd 22 July 1971 [17 Sept 1970] 34360/71 Heading G1N In a control system for a gas turbine engine of a vehicle, the flow of fuel to a combustor 21, the angular position of a nozzle 20 relative to compressor and power turbines 12, 11, and the displacement of a power sensing linkage 24 for controlling a gear train control system 14a of an automatic transmission 14 driven by the turbine 11, are controlled in dependence upon a voltage varied with accelerator pedal position. As shown in Fig. 2, the accelerator pedal is attached to the wiper of a potentiometer, and the voltage Vd produced thereby is applied to function generators 25a, 26a, 27a of flow, nozzle and linkage control circuits 25, 26, 27. The output voltage Vf, Vn and Vp, Figs. 3(b)-3(d), (not shown), are amplified and applied to servos which respectively control a valve 25d for fuel flow, a nozzle positioner 26d, and a linkage positioner 27d, whose output signals are fed back to the amplifiers. |
