The tool spindle is moved up and down by a handle 18. The peephole is provided with an inspection glass 20 which accommodates two rows of numerals 21, 22, representing a lowspeed, and a high speed range respectively. A switch 23 is provided which when placed in a position 26 operates a lamp 24 to indicate the low-speed range, and when in a position 27 operates a lamp 25 to indicate the high-speed range.
