PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve lubricity of a rotating shaft in next starting while preventing occurence of oil coking after stop of an operation, in a turbo supercharger having an oil sump for lubricating the rotating shaft.SOLUTION: An oil release passage 31 for draining oil in stopping an operation, is formed in a housing 6. The oil release passage 31 is provided with a ball valve element 32 supported by a spring 33, and a rod-shaped valve element 34 slid by a temperature sensing member 35. When a temperature of the oil is high, the oil release passage 31 is closed by the ball valve element 32 during an operation, but the oil release passage 31 is opened in stopping the operation. When the temperature of the oil is low, the oil release passage 31 is closed during the operation and also in stopping the operation, thus a rotating shaft 3 is reliably lubricated in restarting the operation. |
