<p>The invention relates to polyvinyl alcohol compositions and aqueous adhesives formed therefrom which are characterized by improved rheological properties. The employment of polyvinyl alcohol having a 4 percent aqueous solution viscosity in the range of about 1 to 16 centipoises in aqueous tackified adhesive systems provides significant and unexpected improvement in flow properties.</p> |
