<p>1340893 Photo-conductive composition RANK XEROX Ltd 5 Jan 1971 [13 Jan 1970] 384/71 Headings G2C C17C4 and C17D1 A photo-conductive composition comprises finely-divided photo-conductor, an alkyd resin and a methanol-modified benzoguanamine resin. The photo-conductor may be ZnO or 2CdS 3CdCO 3 but others are specified. The alkyd resin may be linseed oil, modified medium oil, length alkyd resin or a styrene modified alkyd resin while the benzoguanamine may be modified with formaldehyde. The composition is coated on a paper or metal support to give an electrophotographic element. The two resins are heated to cross-link them. A mixture of dyestuffs may be used as sensitizers for the composition.</p> |
