<p>The specification discloses a tenter frame of the type which laterally stretches webs of material. The new construction provides for two separate parallel rails, one rail providing a pull track, and the other rail providing a return track wherein the tenter chain is located outside of the oven. In this manner, the tenter chain is exposed to ambient temperatures and cooling during the non-working return cycle. New structures are provided at the entering end and delivery end of the tenter frame to accommodate the dual rail structures.</p> |
