PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To image a moving target and detect the imaged target irrespective of the extent of an imaging range.SOLUTION: A synthetic aperture radar device according to the present invention generates a Range Doppler (RD) signal by compressing the SAR received signal of an entire synthetic aperture into pulses of a frequency domain and generates a general image including a fixed target image; divides SAR received signals at points 1-N acquired in accordance with the axis in the direction of movement of a mobile entity in which the radar device is mounted into M synthetic apertures including duplication, and converts the received signal of each of the divided synthetic apertures into a frequency domain and generates an RD signal; calculates an extreme value from the maximum to the P-th of amplitude using an output that the RD signal represents, and turns a phase difference in extreme value between the outputs of M synthetic apertures into a histogram in which the phase difference constitutes a horizontal axis; determines the target of a phase difference in which frequency is larger than a prescribed threshold to be a fixed target, extracts and images targets other than that as a moving target, and superimposes the imaged moving target on the general image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
