PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter apparatus and optical instrument that can increase the aperture and the shutter speed and furthermore suppress the bounce.SOLUTION: The shutter apparatus includes: a substrate 3 having a shutter aperture 2; sectors 6 and 7 for opening or closing the shutter aperture 2; and a drive pin 13 that engages with the sectors 6 and 7 to move the sectors 6 and 7 back and forth. The sectors 6 and 7 take open positions at which the shutter aperture 2 is open when the drive pin 13 exists at a start position, and take closed positions at which the shutter aperture 2 is closed when the drive pin 13 exists in a range from an intermediate position between the start position and end position to the end position. The shutter apparatus includes: an end-side contact portion 74b on which the drive pin 13 abuts from the start position side in the process in which it moves from the start position to the end position; and a brake sector 65 capable of moving toward the end position together with the sectors 6 and 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
