PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool magazine device capable of housing a large number of tools and also capable of saving a space.SOLUTION: A tool magazine device includes a driving chain stretched over a pair of sprocket wheels and a plurality of magazine units which are provided to the driving chain and can be moved along a guide rail. Therein, each magazine unit has such a rotatable configuration that a plurality of tool grippers which detachably hold tools are arranged at equal intervals in a rotation direction. Automatic tool change means includes: a first indexing driving part which performs indexing of one magazine unit provided with a tool to be fitted to a spindle head and moves the magazine unit to a tool changing part; and a second indexing driving part which performs indexing of a tool gripper holding the tool to be fitted to the spindle head, of the plurality of tool grippers arranged on the indexed and moved magazine unit and rotationally drives the tool gripper to a tool changing position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
