<p>1290393 Piperidine-derived esters EGYT GYOGYSZERVEGYESZETI GYAR 22 Dec 1969 [29 Dec 1968] 62394/69 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of formula and their acid addition and quaternary salts, wherein R is o-phenethylphenyl or (CH 2 ) n CO 2 X where n is 4 or 7 and X is 1-methyl-4-piperidyl and a process for preparing them by reacting 1-methylpiperidin-4-ol with RCOZ where Z is OH, alkoxy or halogen, with optional conversion of the products to their salts. Therapeutic compositions comprise compounds of the above formula which have spasmoparasympatholytic and antiserotonine activity, and act on the central nervous system. The compositions may contain the usual carriers and diluents.</p> |
