1357399 Purifying fructose; frutcose calcium chloride complexes MITSUI SEITO KK 29 Oct 1971 [31 Oct 1970 9 April 1971] 50659/71 Heading C2S A fructose-calcium chloride complex is made by mixing an aqueous solution containing fructose with CaCl 2 and concentrating the solution by boiling under reduced pressure such that the liquid boils at 40-70‹ C., at a pH of 1À5-4À5 whereby a massecuite containing the desired complex is precipitated. Substantially pure fructose is made by eliminating CaCl 2 from the above complex. |
