Two-phase liq. cosmetic preparation having an oil-phase and an aq. phase contains oil, water, a water-miscible and oil-immiscible organic liquid (A) as well as finely divided solid particles (B) insoluble in water, oil and (A). Oil is dispersed as globules in a homogeneous mixt. of water and (A) and an appreciable part of (B) is adsorbed at boundary surface between oil and homogeneous mixt. of water and (A). Compsn. pref. contains, by wt., =50% (B), having a particle size =100 mu; =95% oil; =95% homogeneous mixt. of water, and (A). Oil globule dia. is esp. 0.1 mm - 1 cm. Difference in specific wt. between oil and homogeneous mixt. of water and (A) is =0.04.
