<p>Basic diazo dyes (I):- (where X = (II); R1 is opt. substd. hydrocarbon residue or two or three of the residues R1 together with the quat. N atom form an opt. satd. heterocyclic ring; R9 is hal. R10 is H, R11 is alkylsulphonyl, mono- or dialkylaminosulphonyl N-hydroxyalkyl-N-alkylaminosulphonyl or N,N-bis-(hydroxyalkyl)-aminosulphonyl group, R12, R12, R14, R15, R17 and R18 are H, R7 = opt. substd. alkyl, Y = opt. substd. alkylene and Q is (I)) prepd. by coupling the diazo cpd. of an amine (I: X = NH2) with a cpd. (II:Q is 2H). The prods. are esp. useful for dyeing and printing polyacrylonitrile fibres in deep fast shades with good resistance to light, washing, bleaching, ironing, seawater, etc.</p> |
