A vehicle comprises a main oil pump (14) that is driven by a motor generator (4) and that creates pump discharge oil for a first clutch (3), a second clutch (5), and a belt-type continuously variable transmission (6) provided in a driving force transmission path. This front-engine front-wheel-drive (FF) hybrid vehicle is provided with a hybrid control module (81) to control pump driving the main oil pump (14). The hybrid control module (81) controls so that the pump driving energy that drives the main oil pump (14) is reduced as the ATF temperature becomes lower while the vehicle is stopped. As a result, the energy consumed while stopped can be reduced.
