1431439 Pictures MANUMIT Ltd 21 March 1973 [13 Sept 1972] 42547/72 Heading B6X A picture made from a kit of parts comprises at least three transparent sheets 4 to 7, Fig. 1, bearing on one or both sides different parts of the finished picture, the sheets which are spaced from one another by flanges 9 being accommodated within a peripheral wall 3 of a frame 1 and retained by a cap 8. In a modification the flanges 9 may be replaced by grooves in the wall 3 which also supports a glass pane 2. In a further modification the transparent sheets 26 to 28, Fig. 3, are attached to a base 25 and arranged in spaced curved relationship. Spacing of the transparent sheets imparts a threedimensional effect to the picture which may be illuminated by a light source disposed in the cap 8 or in front of the base 25. The sheets may be embossed to provide a relief pattern enhancing the three-dimensional effect. |
