<p>A ridge ventilator by which exhaust gases, smoke, fumes, dust and heat are discharged from the interior of buildings. The ridge ventilator is uniquely adapted to restrict the acoustical energy which is released from the ventilator without affecting the discharge gases through the ventilator.</p>
