1351249 Coated film KALLE AG 19 April 1971 [17 March 1970] 24059/71 Heading B2E A film of a plane-surfaced web of a thermoplastic synthetic material wound up or intended to be wound up into a roll has applied to each longitudinal side of one face at or adjacent the edge of the film, a thin layer of such a medium as bonds adjacent film layers of the roll to such an extent during the winding-up of the film that the air confined between the individual web layers does not escape or only very slowly escapes during storage of the wound roll but not to such an extent that the film layers cannot be readily separated without damage during winding-off the roll. The thermoplastic film may be laminated or coated and may be polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate. The medium may be wax, applied by screen printing or by hot-melt application 'through nozzles.
