If the current photographing mode is a specific photographing mode, the apparatus displays a printer connection disenabled screen to inhibit connection with the printer. |

1. An imaging apparatus having a communication interface configured to communicate with an external device comprising:
a controller; and a memory configured to store instructions which, when executed by the controller, cause the imaging apparatus to function as: selecting a photographing mode for execution from a first photographing mode and a second photographing mode, wherein a larger memory capacity is necessary for data processing in the second photographing mode than a memory capacity necessary for data processing in the first photographing mode; and communicating with a first external device or a second external device through the communication interface, wherein, when the first photographing mode is selected as the photographing mode for execution, a communication with both of the first and second external devices is enabled, and, when the second photographing mode is selected as the photographing mode for execution, a communication with the first external device is enabled, while a communication with the second external device is disabled. |
