The particles may be treated to achieve particle adhesion, e.g. by heat softening or fluid treatment, e.g. with steam or water. Cross linking may be achieved by ionising radiation, e.g. X rays or an electron beam or by chemical means. The coated particles may be incorporated in diapers, catamenial devices and incontinence pads. |
