<p>Title process results in halogenation of the metal to be extracted, then redn. of the resulting halide and deposn. of the metal on Fe. This treatment is esp. suitable for treatment of ores contg. oxides of Ni, Cu, Co, Bi or Sb; lateritic Ni ores are prefd. The resulting metal concentrate, e.g. ferronickel, is easily isolated e.g. by magnetic sepn.</p> |
