PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal printer, a control method, and program which are highly efficient in print control.SOLUTION: A thermal printer includes a thermal head configured by arranging a plurality of heating elements, a paper delivery mechanism which supplies a thermal paper sheet to the thermal head, and a control device which sets the number of times of dividing and printing print data for an area constituted by a plurality of dot lines on the basis of a printing rate of the print data, sequentially heats the heating elements divided by the number of times, and prints the print data on the thermal paper sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
