A multi-surface slide bearing with a number of slide surfaces distributed round it circumference, has a bearing bush and/or a support bush enclosing the bearing bush, machined with grooves, bores or cutouts. The bearing bush is permanently deformed by forcing it through a tool or into the support bush. The inner surface of the bearing bush thus takes on permanently the contours round its inner surface corresp. to the axial grooves of different depths arranged round its outer surface, or to the axial bores positioned radially as close as possible to the inner circumference of the support bush. A much deeper method of prodn. is possible, which can be applied to very small bearings. |
