Equipment for stacking tiles after leaving a press on a vehicle for transferring them to a firing oven includes a vertically adjustable conveying system arranged above the vehicle. The conveyor system is provided on its off loading end with an equipment for lifting the end by the thickness of the tiles to ensure shock free transfer of the tiles from the conveying system on stack of tiles formed on the vehicle. Means are also provided to move the vehicle by a distance equal the distance between central axis of two adjoining stacks and for stopping the flow of tiles from the conveying system when the vehicle is moved. The conveying system is mounted with its ends of two frames of which frame facing the tile press is pivotable locating one end and the other is fitted with vertical guides in which the other end is sliding in vertical direction above the stacking vehicle.
