1495033 Dough dividing BAKER PERKINS HOLDINGS Ltd 27 July 1976 [4 Aug 1975] 32582/75 Heading B5A A dough divider includes a hopper and a division box reciprocable across the outlet of the hopper, the box having a measuring chamber containing a reciprocable ram. The box is reciprocated from a first position (Fig. 4), in which the chamber fully co-operates with the outlet and in which the ram is withdrawn to suck dough into the chamber, through a second position (Fig. 6), in which the chamber only partially co-operates with the outlet and in which the ram is forwarded slightly to force excess dough back into the hopper, to a third position (see Fig. 8) in which the chamber is out of register with the outlet and in which the ram is further forwarded to expel the dough piece from the chamber. The reciprocation may be continuous or the box may stop momentarily in each position. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,447,140. |
