The print is produced by (1) scanning the original, (2) electronic signal processing, (3) control and regulation of the ink jet or of the droplets for printing. Electromagnetic or electrostatic forces or ultrasonic waves may be used to control the ink jet which may also be excited by alternating current. Corona currents may be employed as may magnetic forces if the ink contains magnetically sensitive particles. The image may be printed in multi-colour. |
