The assembly for filling cavities in a structure on the sea bed comprises at least one underwear tubular member in which is a pile, whose outside dia. is smaller than the inside dia. of the tubular member, to form a cavity between them. A fluid-expandable seal is applied to the tubular member, and flow to the sealing assembly and to the cavity controlled. This retains a fluid in the seal assembly. The device pref. prevents backflow of a filling composition from the cavity to the control device. The seal pref. comprises spaced support rings on the inner surface of the tubular member. Reinforcements are attached to the rings and form a gap between their free ends.
