A system for use by amateur film makers using cine equipment enables sound tracks to be added to or coupled up with, the exposed cine film. The film is translated into a series of impulses which are then recorded on sound recording tapes or materials. The recording material is subsequently processed and the resulting effects re-transferred to the film. An electronic device processes the impulses recorded on the sound track material using a number of individual operational processes are accurate control.
