Provided are a method and terminal for processing a communication event. The method comprises: firstly, determining, by a terminal and according to information acquired by the terminal and/or at least one apparatus connected to the terminal, that a state of a user is a first activity state when a communication event occurs; then, determining a first processing policy comprising a process for first activity state information according to the first activity state, and processing the communication event according to the first processing policy; lastly, when a terminal determines that the state of the user is changed to a second activity state according to information acquired by the terminal and/or the at least one apparatus connected to the terminal, prompting the user and/or an opposite terminal corresponding to the communication event according to the second activity state, wherein the terminal determines the first processing policy processing the communication event according to the first activity state, and when a user activity state is updated to the second activity state, the terminal prompts the user and/or the opposite terminal corresponding to the communication event of the communication event according to the second activity state, therefore improving flexibility of the terminal in processing a communication event. |
