Precast concrete wall panel of hollow rectangular section - has lateral end projections which form shutter of load bearing column

The hollow precast concrete panel (1) is for use on wall fascades and has lateral end formations (9, 10) which form the permanent shutters for reinforced concrete load bearing columns. The panel is of hollow reactangular form in horizontal section and grooves (4) are provided on the internal faces of the lateral walls. The grooves receive and locate the edges of inserted insulating slabs (5). The lateral end formations have a semi-dove tail (9) and a 'U' shape (10) respectively. The bases of the panels are closed and include drainage holes. The tops of the panels are open and have rebates for the support of shutters for ring beams.
