1. A system comprising:
a processor device; a memory in communication with the processor device; and a storage device that stores a program of computing instructions for execution by the processor using the memory, the program comprising instructions configured to cause the processor to: obtain routines that are configurable such that a same routine can be configured as either executable on real-time or executable on batch execution engines; receive a user defined set of obtained routines to form a chain of at least two routines; produce the chain of the at least two routines according to the user defined set of routines; receive a user defined designation of the chain as either a real-time workflow or a batch executed workflow; produce by the computing system the designated workflow; and apply the declaration to the produced workflow to declare the workflow as either the real-time executed or the batch executed workflow, with the applied declaration being according to the user-defined designation. |
