<p>An improved process for forming cyanuric acid wherein urea and/or biuret, dissolved in a solvent, are heated in the presence of a dissolved acid or a corresponding anhydride or ammonium salt to produce cyanuric acid so that byproducts ammeline and ammelide are produced in amounts no greater than 1 % by weight of the product.</p> |
