Spreader frame for crane lifted container - has magnets in guides for correct rapid positioning of frame

The spreader frame is used for moving a container by crane. This frame has on its four corners rotating locks for insertion and fastening into container corner fittings. The spreader frame is positioned above the container vertical edges and engages container upper part by guide levers. The spreader frame correct position relative to container is readily established before and during the coupling to container. The spreader frame has several electromagnets (26) and permanent magnets (22) which act on the container. These magnets are fitted on the guide lever (10). Each guide lever has downwards diverging guide faces and the magnets are fitted on the guide faces. If only electromagnets are used their power supply is controlled by the position of the rotating locks (8) or guide levers (10).
