<p>Procedure for collecting and stacking cakes delivered on a belt conveyor in random arrangement by which the cakes are first placed behind each other in a row. Subsequently the cakes are positioned below each other on a receiving needle and transported with the needle to a packing station. Adjoining the belt conveyor for delivering the cakes is a guide station (3) for the cakes and following the guide station (3) is a station (4) for placing the cakes (6) on the needle. The station (4) consists of a belt conveyor (15) above which is mounted the needle shaped receiver (16). The cakes (6) are movable towards the receiver r the receiver is movable towards the cakes in direction of longitudinal axis of the receiver. The belt conveyor (15) consists of a number of parallel apart spaced belts (18, 18', 18'') below which is positioned lifting equipment (19). The lifting equipment has finger shaped projections (21) which project between the belts (18,18', 18") to lift a cake and place it on the receiver.</p> |
