The hasp pivot 33C is rectangular and engaged by a flat spring to hold it up, Fig. 5, or down, Fig. 4. As shown the spring 35A lies under the pivot but it may lie over it (Figs. 10-12, not shown), or it may comprise part of the band-end 31B bent back under it (Figs. 13-16, not shown). As shown in Figs. 17 and 18, the spring 40A is cut from a pivot carrier 40, around which a strap end 31B is fixed. |
