<p>Silicon-iron sheet products of excellent magnetic properties can be produced by providing a hot-rolled band containing a small but critical amount of boron in critical proportion to the nitrogen content of the metal in which the manganese to sulfur ratio is less than 1.8, cold rolling the band directly to final thickness, and then heat treating the cold-rolled product to cause secondary recrystallization.</p> |
