<p>There is disclosed, as a composition of matter, a new, high melting N,N'-terephthaloyl bis-phthalimide, a method for its preparation employing as a solvent a high boiling aromatic or aliphatic-aromatic other or a mixture of a high boiling aromatic or aliphatic-aromatic ether and a low boiling cyclic or aliphatic ether and the use of said new, high melting N,N'-terephthaloyl bis phthalimide as an ester interlinking agent for polyester.</p> |
