<p>New derivatives of furo2,3-d!pyrazolo3,4-b!pyridines, useful as antiinflammatory agents, central nervous system depressants, and to increase the intra-cellular concentration of adenosine-3',5'-cyclic monophosphate, have the general formula wherein R1 is hydrogen, lower alkyl or phenyl-lower alkyl; R2 is hydrogen or lower alkyl; R3 is lower alkyl, phenyl, hydroxy or lower alkoxy; R4 is hydroxy, lower alkoxy or wherein R6 and R7 each is hydrogen, lower alkyl or phenyl-lower alkyl; and R5 is hydrogen, lower alkyl or phenyl.</p> |
