PURPOSE:To obviate flawing originals and make possible the use of inexpensive black colored rubber as a shield member by making the color of the shield member black and providing an original size detector thereby eliminating the influence from the outside of the original range. CONSTITUTION:An original automatic feeder A constituted by an original belt 2, original paper feed base 3, paper feed roller 4, discharge tray 5 is removably provided over contact glass 1, and the originals B stacked on the paper feed base 3 are subsequently let off by the paper feed roller 4 according to specified cycles. The originals B having undergone exposure are discharged onto the discharge tray 5. The original belt 2 which becomes the conveying member and shield member of the sheetform originals B is composed by a black colored rubber belt, covering the entire surface of the contact glass 1. An exposure optical system E is provided below the glass 1 and the original is slit-exposed through the glass 1 to form electrostatic latent images on the drum 10. In this way, the member may be constituted by the black colored rubber, and becomes inexpensive as compared to white colored rubber. |
