TITLE: DYE SOLVENTS FOR PRESSURE-SENSITIVE COPYING SYSTEMS INVENTOR: JOHN F. HERB?R Solvent compositions useful to dissolve color formers employed in pressure-sensitive copying systems comprise: (A) About 45 to 55 weight percent of hydrogenated terphenyl having no greater than about 40% hydrogenation; and (B) about 55 to 45 weight percent of (i) hexylbenzene; or (ii) a composition comprising about 45 to 75 weight percent C10 to C16 alkanes and the balance C7 to C10 alkylbenzenes.
