The case comprises two box parts (1, 2) one above the other and connected by longitudinal members (3). The whole unit is moulded in a single piece of deformable synthetic material. The lower box (2) is deformed for insertion of one end of the needles into (15) so that they pass between partitions (12, 14). The needles are slid home so the inserted ends engage partition (8) below partition (6). Box (2) is returned to its original position, so the other ends of the needles are retained by end wall (16).
