An intergranular insulation type polycrystalline ceramic semiconductive composition was comprised of from 91.92 to 99-62% by weight of polycrystalline SrTiO3, from 0.33 to 4.08% by weight of Ta2O3, from 0.05 to 4.00% by weight of GeO2 and having diffused therin Bi2O3. The diffused material provides a substantially uniform insulating layer about the grain boundaries of the polycrystalline SrTiO.
