PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of automatic meter examination systems by providing an automatic calibration function being repeated to each specified count quantity to the terminal unit side. CONSTITUTION:Every time when a permanent magnet 4 synchronized to the rotation of a meter 3 reaches the specified position, a lead switch 5 closes to generate a count pulse signal (a). On the other hand, each time when the permanent magnet 15 corresponding to the M2 digit of a meter 2 reaches the specified position, a lead switch 16 closes to generate a calibration pulse signal (b). The signals (a) and (b) are synthesized on the time axis and the synthesized signal is transmitted to a photo coupler 13. The output (c) of the photo coupler 13 is level-discriminated in a discrimination circuit 18 and is again separated to the count pulse signal (d) and calibration pulse signal (e). A counter 14 subsequently indicates the number of the respective next digits and the counter outputs are led also to a calibration circuit 17. When inputted with the calibration pulse (e), the calibration circuit 17 calibrates the indication values m1 thru m4 of the counter 14 according to count states. |
