PURPOSE:To simplify the mechanism by using rotation angle detection sensor for detection of position of photosensitive drum, and to obtain good copy timing by speeding up the control action of copy sequence by constituting the control system with electronic circuit. CONSTITUTION:A potentiometer 11, which is used as rotation angle detection sensor, is directly coupled to a photosensitive drum 1, and the output signal V of the potentiometer is held in a hold circuit 12. The output signal of the hold circuit 12 and the output signal V of the potentiometer 11 are differentially amplified in a differential amplifier 13. The output of the differential amplifier 13 and the timing setting signal V2 are differentially amplified in a differential amplifier 14, of which output is inputted into a pulse generator 15. By detecting the change in the angle of rotation in the potentiometer 11, operation may be started immediately irrespective of the rotating position of the photosensitive drum 1, so that sufficient aptitude to high speed operation may be guaranteed. |
