PURPOSE:To maintain a stable denitration rate at a low press. loss over a long term, in denitration of sludge incinerator exhaust gas by a dry NH3 method, by using a molded catalyst with an acutely scraped end part opposite to an exhaust gas current to control adhesion and growth of dust. CONSTITUTION:In denitration of sludge incinerator exhaust gas by a dry NH3 method, cylindrical molded catalyst A, honeycomb-shaped one B or platelike one C is used each having an acutely scraped end part opposite to an exhaust gas current. The upstream side end part of each molded catalyst is scraped satisfying 0.2<=p/t<= 10 and 0.1<=p/t<=5 (p; height of scraped part and t; thickness of molded catalyst) when one side (D-2) alone and both sides (D-1) are scraped, respectively. |
