PURPOSE:To improve the tensile strength of the bonded part without cutting paper fibers through heating by heating the suitable positions of RC paper in nearly parallel to the direction of its paper fibers, i.e., in its width direction and yet with a spacing being left in the overlapped portions of the RC papers thereby thermally bonding the same. CONSTITUTION:RC papers 1, 2 which are higher in tensile strength in the length direction than in the width direction are superposed at end parts 3 so as to extend in the length direction. The end parts 3 are heated at the width b and length c respectively in the suitable positions 4, 4... with a spacing a being placed in the width direction by a known means such as high frequency heating, ultrasonic heating or the like. Since this heating causes the polyethylene layer on one outside surface of the RC paper and the photosensitive layer of the other outside surface to dissolve, the RC papers bond to themselves when pressed. |
