<p>PURPOSE:A thermoplastic resin is scattered on the surface of transparent base material of synthetic resin, molten by heating, cooled, thus being made transparent or translucent to form glazed uneverness on the surface and producing said facing material with galze-like surface. CONSTITUTION:Thermoplastic resin particles of 0.5-3 mm average particle size are scattered on the surface of transparent base material of synthetic resin as polycarbonate or phneolic resin in adequate intervals, transferred by belt conveyor 5 and preheated with infrared heaters 6. Then, they are passed through hot air oven 7 of about 30 m length at about 200 deg.C at a speed of about 6 m/min to melt partially, cooled in cooling zone 8, thus froming transparent or translucent layer 3 with glazed and smooth unevenness 2 on the surface of the synthetic resin base material 1.</p> |
